Lets dive into Intro to Programming, specifically, CEIS110 Introduction to Programming. I was lucky enough to have professor Gina Cooper who is actually one of the leads with in the Python or programming courses at DeVry. She is very informative and loves to get her students thinking.

Our discussion posts were very engaging with professor Cooper actively chiming in wth programming questions such as examples with finishing a program, what variables, if statements, loops are required to correct the code. If we can recognize the process or flow of any code shared by her. What was amazing to see is myself being able to answer questions, participate actively in class and not be crazy confused looking at Python coding. Ultimately, this lead me into learning further about Black Hat Python and purchasing some additional books to learn ethical hacking and penetration testing.

I would like to add how great Zybooks is. This book is an interactive course book. You are going through each section and learning python programming step by step. There is a lot of material to cover and Zybooks does it with ease. You will have to read each section including the how to on Zybooks to better learn. I quickly learned that completeing each section and additional practice is essential to learning the flow of Python.

Though this course is only 8 weeks, we have the material open to us to use for another 6 months. After learning python I want to learn and be able to script at notice because coding in itself is a way of thinking beyond black and white. It is figuring out the gray and how to assume all pallettes of colors.
